The COVID-19 Pandemic has changed the way we navigate our relationships with others. COVID-19 has created some unforeseen conflicts and for parent who have joint custody of their children, it can mean a battle over whether to vaccinate their children. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) has authorized vaccinations for children ages 5 and up,1 and while many parents are scrambling to get their children vaccinated, others hesitate. For parents who share custody and therefore joint decision-making for their children, a difference of opinion on vaccinations can mean a visit to court.
